About Us

First off...Welcome to the Lion-S website. This is my first try at building a website, so I'm
sure it will go through many changes in the upcoming months- and at this rate YEARS! :-).

Who is Lion-S?

I am Charlotte Ramsay and then there is my kennel help ...er...daughter
Kierstyn. We live in TX, south of Houston. Our dogs are part of our family, not
just members of a breeding program.

My first introduction into the world of dog shows was over 16 years ago with a
Manchester Terrier named Gunny (Ch Wilane's Gunsmoke's Festus CD FD)
purchased from JoAnn and Bill Emerick. They were wonderful mentors. JoAnn
and I maintain a special friendship even now that Gunny has passed.

I'd always been partial to big dogs, but had to maintain an apartment lifestyle.
Then in 1998 things changed...FINALLY.. and my first bullmastiff was part of
the house, Kiara (Ch Blackland's Simba's Pride vonHelKen CD). Kiara had one
litter of six puppies. Four completed their championship.

I am currently a member of the American Bullmastiff Association, South West
Bullmastiff Club, and the NASA Area Dog Fanciers Association. I participate in
Bullmastiff Rescue for the ABA.
